Okay I am terrible at keeping this updated!
It's a lot of fun exercising horses in the early morning mist as the sun comes up, must do it again - I miss old times!
Art wise I am still making my way through the waiting list, at the moment I'm reserved all the way back to June! It's scary to have that much of the year planned already. Nonetheless, I will get images up as and when I'm able to - problem with my work often being gifts, they can't go public for a while! I've not thought of any original work to produce yet, but I am still thinking.
We're also looking (3 years on..) to doing a huge overhaul of the website. It's very old at the moment and not responsive for mobile platforms which are now such popular methods of browsing the net. Not overly sure what we're going to go for next, however my lovely OH has some fun ideas up his sleeve to make it a very useful site. So I will update on this when we eventually start the planning, however at the moment we have much bigger things to be doing. Plus, being the veterinary tech student means studies come before new projects.
I also aim to produce some more tutorials this year for Liam, founder of the ECN and Equestrian Social Media Awards. I began the tutorial series for the ECN in 2013, and think after a bit of brain storming, I can come up with some unique ideas. I will update more on this too when I know more. Although if anyone has any thoughts on types of tutorials that are generally neglected (in equine terms) share your thoughts!
Hope everyone had a super Christmas, New Year etc. I'm looking forward to the spring as so far the flooded fields are starting to become a saddening sight. More sun, less rain, and I might finally get some XC jumps in the field to play with.
As always, let me know your news

Hello, it's me... Are you listening?
Update 30th March -
I just had an awesome trip to the Lake District for my OH's birthday and to get away from it all. Surpising news, we're now engaged!! :D He proposed at my most favourite place, Tarn Howes  :D

Oh cripes! I'm posting in March again. Naughty me!
:bulletblue: So, what's new.. hmm. Well, for the last few months, I've been bedside with my grandmother. Through multiple misdiagnoses around Christmas, she was finally told she had Ovarian Cancer with a couple of weeks left. I was very close to her, so I begun grieving immediately though she was still here. So when she did die a few weeks later, I entered a stran
Hello, It's me. Are you listening?
Trying out a new journal skin... so bare with me.
How are you all?
I seem to have a knack of posting in February. Well, it's March now - saved draft for the win! I've not been massively active on DeviantArt recently, real life often gets in the way, then I remember I've not updated a shed-load of artwork. So, I shall endeavour to fix that! Artists-of-Equus is in it's 6th year as a Super Group which is awesome too. There is an amazing panel of Mods on there too.
:bulletpink: Can you believe I'm a fully trained & qualified Marine Life Medic now? :D
:bulletorange: Can you believe that it's been 8 years of owning Turk? I
Hands up! Pinteresters needed
I confess, I'm terrible at keeping this updated this year, sorry!
Firstly - does anyone have Pinterest? I'd love to have some followers (none at the moment!) and I always follow back :) http://uk.pinterest.com/Scotspud/
It's all mentally hectic at the moment with having to gut the entire lounge, so the parrots are now in the studio with me - two of them are very keen to get their beaks on all the paper!
I'm not doing a lot of artwork as I've been focused on studies, however I do have several commissions I do need to share with you all! Currently rubbing my darn horse-fly bites on my desk as they're absolutely agony. Oh and I no
News for June
Sigh, my premium membership ran out :( Edit: A rather wonderful RejectAll-American (https://www.deviantart.com/rejectall-american) just upgraded my account, I strongly suggest you go check out her artwork. She's a wonderful person
News news.. at the moment I'm not taking in many commissions, I can't do everything in a day and of course my vet tech studies have to come in first. The more I advertise, the more requests I get for sponsoring photo-competitions or donating to a raffle for unregistered charities, the "I can't afford that/it's a gift, others are cheaper" knock off requests, or the golden one, free artwork requests. Oh! Also, the "I'll translate your website for a
