Here's the little man!

He's 3 years and 10 months old now yay!

I backed him end of july 07, then he was turned away, then had the winter out, and will be into work soon. I dont like horses/ponies being started too soon. Also, he's a Welsh Mountain pony, and they often mature later then others.

Since backing he had calmed down, but was certantly not ready for any work as he was still very weedy and foal like. It's only been in the past 2 months that he has started to fill out and grow into himself. He's a lovely shape now.

He got two 3rds and a 2nd at his first show 6 months ago, but aside from that he's not had anything else. He really is a lovely, cheeky little monkey!

the image is quite photoshopped, as there was a weigh tape, broom handle and a rubber currycomb in the background, and bits of hay that someone had left outside [as usual]

Image edited with Photoshop CS3's 'spot healing brush' was only playing around with it as its a 30 day trial, image looks quite nice now it doesnt have the hay all over the place! however it's incredibly technical for me! LOL
